Sideline Cheer
Big Blue Sideline cheer is a seasonal sport involving organized cheering, dancing, stunting and chanting. Athletes will learn technique, jumps, flexibility and coordination while working and learning in a team environment. Cheerleading is a disciplined sport. This sideline program will help them train through the ages to prepare them for high school or other rec cheer programs.
Please note on your registration if you have a football player or sibling in the program and we will try our best to accommodate.

Practice Location/Days
Practices will be held at Rogers High School. As school sports take precedence the location around the school may change but should remain on campus.
Practice days will align with football as much as possible. Cheer will practice starting 3 days a week in August, 2 days a week in September and 1 day a week in October.
Time will also change based on daylight. Practices are mandatory in order to cheer at games. If you are unable to make a practice you must notify your head coach.
Games
As we teach the athletes to work together as a team, games are mandatory. The athletes will prepare for certain things for game time and if a teammate is missing it can hurt the entire team.
Locations and times will vary for games and you will be notified as soon as we have the schedule. Schedules are always subject to change so please always stay tuned to updates.
Athletes are expected to stay on the field for the entirety of the game. Water breaks will be in between quarters. They will be able to have a break during halftime. Parents and spectators are not allowed down on the field during game time.
